Day One

What is up with politics? Without fail, I am forced daily to listen to the ramblings of someone who is upset with one of the major political parties. I listen empathetical to them describe how messed up the GOP is or how Obama is trying to screw us. I nod my head acknowledging their distress. They bring up an magazine article or a news report to support their case. It is usually bare of facts yet ripe with political purpose. But not wanting to start a office scene, I try not to disagree too hard. The complainer goes away thinking I am in their political corner. Yes, they, myself, and the majority of Americans are also in their corner. They believe it is the liberal, or conservative media (controlled by either the left or the right) that is trying to mold the rest of the country to follow their dogma. They can't believe that there is another opinion out their, different from their own, that might be justified.

Here is the purpose of this blog. To get the message out. We are tired of both the left and the right in their attempts to force their agendas on the rest of us. I want other intelligent bloggers to help break down the major stories of the day and help remove the political spin. While I don't believe the majority of news sources are biased, either towards the left or the right, they are biased towards printing garbage that they think will sell. Unfortunately it is the sqweeky wheel that gets the oil. It is now time for the quite majority, the moderates to let our oppinions be heard.

So let the Blogging begin.
